Topspin-Integrated Pre-Order Page for Rhett Miller

Music Geek Services has had the pleasure of working for Rhett Miller and his own label Maximum Sunshine Records for most of the past year. We were initially hired to create a newly designed web site back last Fall. At that time we introduced Rhett’s team to the world of direct-to-fan via a Topspin e4m widget and migrated his mailing list from Dreamhost to Topspin.

This past week we worked with The Orchard and Rhett’s management team and label to launch a Topspin-integrated Pre-Order for his upcoming album The Dreamer. You can view the offer page at http://www.rhettmiller.com/.

The page makes use of the Topspin social sharing links, some cool jQuery to allow fans to add t-shirts to their music item orders and to allow super fans to easily select between either the vinyl and cd deluxe packages.

Here’s a screenshot of the fan bundles offered for the pre-order:

Although his team did not have enough time to tie-in the Topspin ticketing option into bundles or use Topspin ticketing, we did present the tour dates in an attractive tour/ticketing grid with trackable links to all the shows.

What if when fans called that number they were asked what their favorite part of the video was? Hell, you could [...]
